Production Number: 011 Original Air Date: 11-28-01 Stardates: ~ Synopsis: The Enterprise detects several ships near a stellar nursery. The crew contacts a transport ship carrying a group of pilgrims to the Great Plume of Agosoria, a proto-star that gives off a neutron blast every eleven years. Captain Archer invites a group of the alien pilgrims aboard the Enterprise, but doesn't realize that Silik, the leader of the Suliban Cabal, is in disguise among them under orders from his contact in the future. During a tour of Engineering, Silik secretly disconnects a power conduit -- an action which later prevents a warp core breach during a plasma storm. An Enterprise crewman named Daniels reveals to Captain Archer that he is from nine hundred years into the future, and he has come to stop Silik as part of a Temporal Cold War. Daniels requests Archer's help in finding and capturing Silik. However, Silik confronts Archer and tells him not to believe Daniels, and Silik subsequently kills Daniels. Archer prevents Silik from taking Daniels' advanced technology, but can't stop the Suliban from escaping to a waiting shuttle.
