| Episode Title: "RESOLUTIONS" Production Number: 841 Original Air Date: 05-13-96 Stardates: 49690.1 Synopsis: While on a planet, Captain Janeway and Commander Chakotay contract a virus that will kill them if they leave the planet. Tuvok is left in command of the Voyager and must continue on to Earth without them, leaving the captain and commander supplies to live comfortably on the planet. Although Janeway ordered Tuvok to avoid contact with the Vidiians, Ensign Kim and others want to find a cure for Janeway and Chakotay. After several weeks, Tuvok contacts Dr. Denara Pel, whose life was saved by the Voyager crew, and she informs them that the Vidiians have a cure for the virus. When Vidiians attack the Voyager, Dr. Pel beams the medicine to the E.M.H.; the Voyager manages to escape the Vidiian ships and returns to the planet, where Janeway and Chakotay have been making a home for themselves.
