Synopsis: On a shuttle mission, Lt. Commander Tuvok, Ensign Paris, and the Voyager's Emergency Medical Hologram crash on a Class-D planet inside a pocket dimension where time is accelerated.

Tuvok recalls his rebellious and emotional youth, when he was in love with Jara, the daughter of a Terrelian diplomat, before he was trained in the Vulcan mental discipline of logic.
