Synopsis: Seven of Nine's cooking demonstration is interrupted by a graviton surge that pulls the Voyager into a starless void in which numerous other alien ships are trapped, including those of the Vaadwaur, Nygeans, Jelinians, Kraylor, Annari, and The Hierarchy.

In order to find a way out of the void, Captain Janeway forges an alliance with several alien ships, while fighting off looting from hostile ships.
