	Episode Title: "FLESH AND BLOOD" Production Number: 953 / 954 Original Air Date: 11-29-00 Stardates: 54337.5 Synopsis: The Voyager responds to a distress call from a Hirogen space station that has been attacked by photonic insurgents. The only survivor, a Hirogen technician, informs the Voyager crew that the Hirogen were attacked by holograms created by the holodeck technology that Captain Janeway gave them three years ago. When the Voyager confronts the holograms' stolen Hirogen ship, the Emergency Medical Hologram is kidnapped by the holographic insurgents led by Iden, a hologram of a Bajoran soldier that escaped its Hirogen ship and sought out other photonics. Iden was inspired by photonic insurgents rebelling against the Lokirrim, and he began liberating other holograms from the Hirogen. Iden convinces the E.M.H. to assist them in finding a new home where holograms can live freely, but the E.M.H. feels conflicted when he has to betray his crew in order to help the holograms. Factoid: Ovions are hexapopds. The Voyager was in the Ovion system two weeks ago. E.M.H.: "I'm a doctor, not an engineer."
